Stoughton and Northmead Schools PTA’s play a vital role in supporting the life of the school by bringing parents, carers, staff and friends together to enhance the experiences of all our children. Through fundraising, events and community activities, the PTA’s helps to provide valuable resources and opportunities that enrich learning and wellbeing. Just as importantly, it strengthens our school community, creating a welcoming and supportive environment where everyone can feel involved and make a difference.
New members and volunteers are always welcome.
The PTA’s are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and follows the school’s safeguarding and child protection policies. Any concerns are shared promptly with the school’s Designated Safeguarding Leads.

The PTAs of Stoughton and Northmead Schools collect and use personal information only where it is necessary and with your consent. This may include information about you or your child for the purpose of organising and administering PTA events, such as issuing tickets, coordinating volunteers, processing payments, or ensuring the safety of those attending (for example, allergy information).
The personal data we collect for events may include names, class details, tickets purchased and payment amounts. This information is used solely for the purposes stated above.
All personal information is stored securely, for example in password-protected files, and access is limited to PTA members who need the information in order to run a specific event. Data is retained only for as long as necessary and is then securely deleted or destroyed.
You have the right to request access to the personal data we hold about you or your child, to ask for it to be corrected or deleted, or to withdraw your consent at any time. Requests should be made by contacting the PTA via friendsofstoughtoninfants@gmail.com northmead.nst@gmail.com
If you have concerns about how your data is used, you also have the right to raise a complaint with the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO), the UK’s data protection regulator.
