Admissions
We welcome pupils at four important stages—Nursery and Reception at Stoughton Infant School, Year 3 at Northmead Junior School, and through In-year admissions across both schools—providing multiple opportunities to join our thriving school community.
Nursery
Our Nursery Class is called ‘Ladybirds’.
September Admissions 2026
There is one Nursery intake in September each year. Children will only be admitted at other points in the year, if spaces become available.
A child will be eligible for admission to the nursery from the term after they turn 3 years old. Admission will be subject to an application being made and places available.
For full information regarding our Nursery admissions procedure, please refer to our Nursery Admissions Policy.
Applications for Nursery places starting in September 2026 are now open. Please read the information below before completing the application form at the bottom of this section.
The deadline for applications was 15th March 2026. Successful applicants will be notified no later than 22nd April 2026.
Any applications received after the deadline will be considered late and be automatically added to the waiting list.
We offer 3 attendance patterns:
- 30 hour places (funded or part-funded), Monday to Friday, 8.50am to 2.50pm
- 15 hour places, Monday and Tuesday, 8.50am to 2.50pm and Wednesday 8.50am-11.50am
- 15 hour places, Wednesday 11.50am-2.50pm, Thursday and Friday 8.50am -2.50pm
Nursery Top-Up Fees:
All 3 & 4 year olds are eligible for 15 hour free funding to attend a Nursery setting.
If you are not entitled to 30 hours Free Childcare for Working Parents, but would like a full-time space, you will be required to top up the additional 15 hours. The weekly fee for 2025-2026 for the additional 15hrs is £93.75 (this is subject to change for each academic year). This amount will be invoiced termly in advance but can either be paid in full or in 3 instalments. If Nursery top-up fees are not paid promptly, you are at risk of your child’s Nursery place being reduced to 15 hours per week.
