Applications for September 2027 are now open!
Please read the following information before completing the application form further below:
There is one Nursery intake in September each year. Children will only be admitted at other points in the year, if spaces become available.
A child will be eligible for admission to our nursery from the term after they turn 3 years old. Admission will be subject to an application being made and places available.
For full information regarding our Nursery admissions procedure, please refer to our Nursery Admissions Policy.
The deadline for applications will be 15 March 2027. Applications received after this date will be considered as late applications and will be subject to places remaining available.
We offer 3 attendance patterns:
- 30 hour places (funded or part-funded), Monday to Friday, 8.50am to 2.50pm
- 15 hour places, Monday and Tuesday, 8.50am to 2.50pm and Wednesday 8.50am-11.50am
- 15 hour places, Wednesday 11.50am-2.50pm, Thursday and Friday 8.50am -2.50pm
Nursery Top-Up Fees:
All 3 and 4 year olds are eligible for 15 hours of funded early education at a Nursery setting.
If you are not entitled to 30 hours Free Childcare for Working Parents, but would like your child to attend Nursery full-time, you will be required to pay a top-up fee for the additional 15 hours.
As an example, the weekly fee for 2026-2027 for the additional 15hrs is £96.30 (this is subject to change for each academic year). This amount will be invoiced termly in advance but can either be paid in full or in instalments. If Nursery top-up fees are not paid promptly, your child’s Nursery place may be reduced to 15 hours per week.

Nursery Tours
We are delighted to welcome prospective parents to visit our Nursery Class and see what makes our Nursery so special. You will meet with one of our Nursery Teachers, Mrs Coles who will show you our setting and answer any questions you may have. Tours take take place from October – February prior to the March deadline of the year of entry.

Reception and Year 3
Choosing the right school for your child is a very important decision, we offer school tours of Stoughton and Northmead in the autumn term from late September through to early January. Learning Partners Academy Trust is the admission authority for this school.
September 2027 Entry
If your child is due to start school Reception(Children born between 1 September 2022 and August 2023) or Year 3 in September 2027, parents should follow the steps on the Surrey County Council website. You can apply between 3 November 2026 and 15 January 2027.
Applying on time will give your child the best chance of getting one of your preferred schools.

School Tours
We are delighted to welcome prospective parents to visit our school. You will meet a member of our School Leadership Team, who will show you our school and answer any questions you may have. Tours for a September intake take place from October – February prior to the March deadline of the year of entry.

In-Year Admission
Learning Partners Academy Trust is the admission authority for both Stoughton Infants and Northmead Juniors.
If your child is already in primary education (Year R through to Year 6) and need to change schools outside the normal admissions period (for example, if you are moving house), you should do this via Surrey County Council. All applications will be handled in accordance with the criteria in our admission policies.
Once Surrey Admissions has informed the school, our Admissions Team will be in contact if a space is available. Alternatively if you have received an offer from Surrey Admissions please feel free to call the school office to discuss the next steps:

Appeals

Appeals are now being heard on a face-to-face basis. If you have difficulties attending, please contact the School Appeals Service.
Appeals for September 2027 resulting from year of entry or transfer applications:

NB: Appeals will not start being heard until after the relevant closing date has passed. Appeals lodged after these dates will be heard within 40 school days of the appeal deadline or 30 school days of being lodged, whichever is the later date.
Appeals are not heard in school holidays, which will vary depending on the school.
Appellants will be sent notification of their appeal hearing at least 10 clear school days in advance of the hearing. Appellants will be sent a copy of the school’s case 7 clear working days in advance of the hearing. Appellants must ensure that any further evidence not included with their initial appeal is received by 5pm on the day notified in the letter with details of the hearing. Any additional evidence or information received after this date might not be considered at the appeal hearing.
In year or immediate entry appeals
Appeals resulting from in year admission applications will be heard within 30 school days of the appeal being lodged.
